Early this year, top management of the company decided to take a few days away from work and get together with the key personnel from all the departments to review the behavioural strengths and weaknesses within the company with a view of enhancing teamwork and performance. It was in a form of a retreat outside Accra in Little Acre Hotel in Aburi during 27-29th January 2011.
The facilitator for the retreat was Mr. Eric Yahkah of YankahLink Associates.
All the days were filled with interesting activities, group discussions and workshops. The topics discussed included:
- Critical appraisal of existing and prospective work programmes, logistics,
administrative and financial support
- Issues confronting TCCL and dealing with them
- Summary of decisions and responsibilities
- The three most important things
- Implementing a vision for TCCL, strategic focus for 2011-2015 and beyond
